Data sources and edge devices capture the process data of your machines.

The data infrastructure describes how ENLYZE acquires your machines' data. While sites and machines represent what physically exists, this area describes the acquisition layer: where the raw data comes from and which device it reaches the platform through.

• Data sources: the controllers, meters, sensors, and IT systems that data is read from.

• Edge devices: the devices that connect data sources and stream their data into the ENLYZE Manufacturing Data Platform.
