Setup sheets

Setup sheets capture the machine settings per product (also known as SOP).

A setup sheet (also called an SOP, standard operating procedure) captures the machine settings for a specific product. It defines target values, target ranges, and limits for variables, so a machine can be run reproducibly in its optimal state.

The setup sheet is the basis for two further features:

  • the Co-Pilot, which shows operators the target values defined in the setup sheet compared to live machine data and highlights deviations,

  • the batch record, which documents the actual values of a batch against the defined ranges.

Relationships

  • A setup sheet belongs to exactly one product per machine.

More on setup sheets

This page describes the setup sheet as a resource. How to create and maintain a setup sheet is explained on the Setup sheet page under Production optimization.
