Variable

A variable is a measurement or control value that changes over time and is provided by a data source. Variables are centrally managed within the ENLYZE Manufacturing Data Platform, can be searched, and recorded.

If a variable is being recorded, its time series data is available both in near real-time and historically from the start of the recording—accessible via the web interface and all integrations.

  • Comment: Some data sources provide comments included during configuration.

  • Display Name: A display name of the variable. This is not present on the data source but is assigned within the ENLYZE Manufacturing Data Platform.
